The news media just announced that the jobless rate has gone up to double digits all over the country!
According to the U.S. unemployment rate, released earlier this month, rose to 8.1 percent in February, the highest in more than 25 years. Experts predict the national jobless rate will have climbed to 8.5 percent in March when the government releases that report next week. It will probably hit 10 percent by year end even if the recession were to end later this year, they said.
Michigan's jobless rate climbed to 12 percent, the highest in the country.
South Carolina registered the second-highest at 11 percent.
Oregon came in third at 10.8 percent.
North Carolina came in fourth with an unemployment rate of 10.7 percent.
California and Rhode Island tied for fifth place at 10.5 percent each.
Nevada, who came in seventh was at 10.1 percent.
Layoffs in manufacturing, construction and retail -- sectors hard hit by the housing collapse -- are common threads running through the higher unemployment.
So what are we to do? Sit back and cry? I DON’T THINK SO! There is still plenty of money in America. It’s just changed hands….. What we have to do is FIND IT!
So, if you have a hobby that you can turn into a business to make extra money – do it.
If you have a particular skill, write an EBOOK and sell it online.
If you find a network marketing product you can “get in touch with” sell it.
Our country was built on people like you and me, who found themselves in an awkward situation and decided to do something about furthering their stations in life.
The results may startle you….. You will find yourself saying “Why didn’t I do this before?” The answer is simple my friends, you just needed a little PUSH!
Talk to you soon!
